Two Gallants are friends of ours, we toured with them in Europe. I have to say they are the nicest guys in the world. They are quiet vegans and weigh in at about 100 pounds each for god sakes. There is no way they would have done something to deserve or instigate this this kind of treatment. If you live in Houston (or beyond) you should be outraged.

Well i didn’t see the bulletin but i DID see that the decemberists are playing Dallas and Austin and have a packed schedule that looks like it never included Houston to begin with. Maybe it’s our lack of smoking ordinance since Colin whiiiiiined onstage about people smoking at Mary Jane’s when they last played here.
So why would the Decemberists threaten their fans to never come here again? Their fans are the ones who got beat up/tazered/bullied while by the same asshole who beatup/tazered /bullied their friends in Two Gallants.
Fuck The Decemberists and the white horse they never rode in on. We’re the ones who gotta put up with shit from the cops AND the fucking outsider so-called do-gooders. Save me your indignation, Colin.

oh, sorry. i realized the entire decemberist post isn’t above. i couldn’t find the link. this one is totally innocuous.
