Houston Calling

The Long Winters on radioACTIVE tomorrow

September 28th, 2006 · 1 Comment

This just in from KPFT’s radioACTIVE crew:

We recorded an interview and live performance with The Long Winters last Tuesday 9/19 at Sugar Hill Studios in Houston. It will be edited to one hour and broadcast LIVE on Pacifica Radio KPFT 90.1 FM in Houston on Friday, September 29th, at 2pm CST.

If you are not in Houston, you can catch a livestream at kpft.org, and it will be archived on the KPFT site for one week. Pretty sure it will also be permanently archived at the Sugar Hill website.

Setlist: Sway (Rolling Stones cover) | Hindsight | Teaspoon | Car Parts | Honest | Fire Island AK | Shapes | Commander Thinks Aloud | Ultimatum (acoustic)

They sounded really great and major props to Sugar Hill Studios for having us. Not sure how much will make it in to the one hour show since we also spoke with John for almost an hour, but hopefully less talk and more rock. Outstanding show.

Visit radioACTIVE’s MySpace page & be sure to tune in tomorrow (Friday, 9.29.06) at 2pm CST.
