Chose your poison tonight… (great local shows)

September 2nd, 2006 · No Comments

At The Proletariat tonight (Saturday, 9.2.06), Flowers to Hide, Something Fierce, and The Blaggards will play starting at 9pm. This will be a great show — I am a fan of all three bands and always enjoy thier shows.

If Britrock, punk rock, and Irish folk with a touch of 80s metal aren’t really your things, I suggest instead heading out to The Continental Club to catch Tody Castillo, Austin Collins, and Sleeping Rubies. This will be a rockin’ show in its own right, just more of a alt-country type of thing.

Also tonight is Helios 10th Anniversary celebration. No cover for 21+. Upstairs is the Glitch! dance party, and downstairs hosts SkyBlue72, Million Year Dance, Leif Moore and friends, 9Volt, Two Star Symphony, and more. DJ Joe B is outside.

Lots to do…
