Houston Calling

The Church tonight at The Meridian

July 26th, 2006 · 2 Comments

Remember The Church? “Under The Milky Way”? “Reptile”? “Myrrh”? “Terra Nova Cain”? Heydey? Gold Afternoon Fix? Well, one of Australia’s finest bands is coming to Houston TONIGHT at The Meridian for an acoustic show. The band’s new album, Uninvited, Like The Clouds, is good and it will be good to see the band play live.

I don’t recall seeing The Church on their tour for Starfish way back when, but it’s possible. I won’t miss this one…

Rob Dickinson, lead singer of Catherine Wheel, opens the show around 8:30pm. Doors at 7pm.

Ticket information can be found on The Meridian’s website. More information on The Church can be found here.

I won’t be able to go the show, but I’m listening to “Under The Milky Way” right now

    About to go right now!

Great song, but Chicago’s Kill Hannah covers it on their new album & it’s just not right.
