Haven’t seen the “Old” Cars since 1984 – Even though the older kids I went with bought me beers, I still remember show at the Summit (now an evangelical mega church). Blondie’s ‘Heart of Glass’ was a hit when I was in the 3rd grade – I’ve got the 45 around here somewhere. Laaaters.

Blondie and the Cars (Debbie Harry and Ric Ocasek double bill?)! Whoa. Here in Seattle we have Resurrection Sunday where 2 stations play nothing but 80’s – 1 does it all morning and the other all afternoon. There must be a another resurrgence emerging for bands from that era and before!
