There’s a lot going on around town this weekend.

Tonight is the CD release party for John Evans Band at The Meridian. The Mighty Orq and Hell City Kings round out the bill. Cover $10. Doors at 9 p.m.

Also, Tody Castillo, Arthur Yoria, and Reading Days play at The Continental Club. Molly & The Ringwalds play from 7-9:30 p.m. Enjoy this great line-up.

Prince’s latest muse, Tamar, plays at Warehouse Live with the man himself, Prince.

Saturday night, Dynamite Club comes back to Houston. Dynamite Club’s experimental jazz-punk, whatever-it-is, is sure to wow fans. The band performs at Super Happy Fun Land with the amazing From Postcards To Letters, Calbakes, The Hard Luck Heroes, and Brains for Dinner.

Also on Saturday is the Texas Metal Fest at The Meridian.
