Houston Calling

Bring Back the Guns w/ Sharks & Sailors + the week in Houston rock

June 28th, 2005 · No Comments

This just in:

This Wednesday (6.29.05) @ 10 p.m., for only $5 cover (!), come out to The Proletariat (903 Richmond Ave., near Montrose) to see a great line-up:

Bring Back the Guns [website | MySpace site]
The Narrator (from Chicago on Flameshovel Records) [website]
Sharks and Sailors [website | MySpace site]

On Thursday (6.30.05), take your pick from checking out Tody Castillo at The Harp (on Richmond near Shepherd) or seeing Sitka Sound w/ .belville, Satin Hooks, Shinobu, and The Sterling at the Rhythm Room (on Washington Ave. near downtown). Both shows are very good calls…

Friday, you should check out The Dimes and Flowers to Hide as they play with American Vodka at Super Happy Fun Land.

Also, remember to check out The Proletariat (on Richmond near Montrose) this Sunday afternoon (July 3rd, 2005) for a good day of local rock. Tons of local bands for a cheap price. Show starts at 3 p.m. (with The Dimes — who you need to check out!) so get there early and support local music.

For those wanting to head down south, check out The Karma Manifesto on Sunday at Del’s Lookout in Surfside. For a recent interview with David Glaser from The Karma Manifesto, please click here.
