Revolution! — Mindcrime plays tonight in suburban Houston

June 24th, 2005 · No Comments

Any loyal reader knows my affinity for Queensryche’s Operation:Mindcrime album [if not, read more here]. Well, tonight (Friday, 6.24.05) marks the return of the band MINDCRIME — A Tribute to Queensr?che. The band will play out at the Forgetta-Bout-It.

This show marks the Houston debut for new Mindcrime members Shane Dubose (bass), Don Lafon (guitar), and Craig Lemay (drums). Special guests will be Drifter (Austin’s top Iron Maiden tribute band, not the local rock band) and After Dark (from Dallas). The show starts at 9:45, so get there early! This should be a good night of rock.

Forgetta-Bout-It is located at 13245 Jones Road @ Grant Road in NW Houston. It sits right behind the McDonald’s at the corner of Jones and Grant. Phone: 281-807-4116. There’s a decent Mexican restaurant and a decent Chinese restaurant in the same strip center. FYI.
