Tonight at The Meridian, Houston Press is throwing their annual music awards nominations party (and concert). This year’s featured acts are Bowling For Soup, Riddlin’ Kids, and American Hi-Fi. Doors are at 7 p.m. and cover is $15. This should be a good time, so come out and show your support for your favorite local artists by casting your vote.

I don’t know if you’ve ever seen American Hi-Fi live, but despite their juvenile poppiness they rock live. Not bad at all — I saw them at Number’s once.
