Pale, who are headed into the studio soon, are playing at Helio’s tonight (3.6.04) with local favorite popster Arthur Yoria and a band from San Marcos called Isola. The show starts at 10 p.m. This is going to be a good one. All are good musicians so come out and show your support.

For you risk-takers and extreme sports junkies, Great White is playing at Cardi’s.

Local rockabilly gods Luxurious Panthers play tonight at Walter’s on Washington. Check these guys out. Always a good time.

There is also the Angel Sigh Cancer Benefit, featuring Ghost Shark, Helicopter Jones, No Visible Trauma, Cool Be and the Imaginaries, The Skullening, Bound for Okinawa, Violin, The Sugarbeats, & more at Southmore House (show starts at 2 p.m., cover is a $3 donation to the cause)

Local rockers Mr. Plow are having their CD release party tonight at Fat Cat’s on Washington. The Lonely Guys open the show.

During the day, check out Matt Hammon and Cameron Dezen at an in-store performance at the Borders Books and Music on Kirby & West Alabama in Houston. The duo also plays tonight at 8 p.m. (free show!) at The Vintage Bar (located on Mid Lane, half a block north of Westheimer, just inside the loop).

The Cryolab Spring Jam features Chrome 44, Salting Job, Superna, & sOre @ Cryolab, of all places.

Blues rocker Jonny Lang plays tonight at Verizon Wireless Theater.

RemuS Radio Party, featuring Hollister Fracus, Slim, & Mr. Lucky is tonight at the Forgettaboutit Club at Jones Rd. & Grant in northwest Houston
