Southern Backtones are perfoming tonight (Friday, Dec. 12th) at Cafe Brasil on Westheimer from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m. They also play on Saturday night at Fitzgeralds at 11 p.m.

Pale is playing at Rudyard’s, with Endochine from Austin, on Saturday night.

Also, The Scattered Pages bring their rock tunes to The Warehouse Music Cafe & Ice House, located at 1801 Washington Ave. (next to The Rhythm Room) on Saturday night at 9:30 p.m. The band will be introducing some new songs complete with drums and bass, and the always entertaining Dreambreakers will play at 11 p.m.

On Sunday, beginning at 4 p.m., The Proletariat hosts Max G. Arnold’s Kinky Xmas. The Proletariat is located at 903 Richmond (next to Washington Mutual bank on Montrose at Richmond). Doors at 4 p.m., music starts at 5 p.m. Cover is $4–all proceeds go towards The Offices of Max G. Arnold Issue 5.

Each band plays on the hour except where noted.
