I went to see David Garza last night at The Continental Club in Houston. As usual, he put on an amazing performance. If you get the chance to see Garza live, forego your other plans and check him out. He is an amazing musician and is great to his fans. I don’t think there is a finer musician.

The new Spiritualized album, Amazing Grace, comes out Tuesday. The band left its major label home and is self-releasing the new album. I hope more and more established acts choose this route and give the music industry a humiliating kick in the crotch.
